Bantry House and Garden is on the fringe of Bantry Town, commanding magnificent views over the bay. It is lived in by the descendants of the Earls of Bantry and has been enjoyed by visitors for 65 years.
Bed and breakfast with 6 rooms in the main house available.
Garden highlights include classical statues, urns, and balustrades, a wisteria circle, topiary and the Parterre. The gardens contain seven terraces; the house is located on the third. Behind the house, one hundred steps appear to rise out of a fountain. The staircase is surrounded by azaleas and rhododendron in season.
The House is open to visitors at specified times. There is a tearooms on site.
